Autometer Full Pillar

Decided on a whim to go home for lunch today.
Glad I did!
The UPS guy showed up with the Pillar Pod I ordered from Options Auto Salon...

I had to pay $42.07 for customs though... eergh

I am a bit upset that it doesn't mount on directly, but has to be mounted to the existing cover...
I also have to paint it to match, as I DO NOT want it black!

Here are the pics I know you want, and some with the gauges I have mounted in the pod.

I will post more pics of the install when it gets time for that (rain today).

Aww man....
If anybody wants to buy this in Canada.. just go to your local Car shops.. they're only $75 Canadian and you save shipping and duties!

(I got one for $35 cause I think it was a price mistake.. )

Not me, Everywhere I called was 3 - 4 weeks delivery. I didn't want to wait that long, so I spent the extra $ getting it from the US.

not for 60mm damit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (pissed)

yeah i know what the ****!? i want this w/ 60mm! i guess i will have to get just regular gay pods and not full pillar. o well.

does all protege fit our A pillar?.
nice Logan...can't wait to see them installed.
why is the piece soo long? Does it extend all the way to the roof?

its called A-pillar for a reason...the reason being it replaces the entire pillar...instead of just being gauge pods

yeah i really wish the full A pillar would come with 60mm!! it would looks so much better than just stupid gay pods

logan, get some SEM color coat spray paint, the color is light titanium and the color number is 15353. ordered mine from vinly-pro of Western PA
http://vinlypro.safeshopper.com/29/254.htm?893

used it on my Autometer triple and this color matches perfectly! can't beat $6.13 for 13oz. spray can. don't have a digi cam so i got no pics, but do a search ...someone did it on a p5 (where i got the idea). also get a small strip of velcro from wal-mart to put at the top to hold it. make sure to put it underneath the weatherstripping on the doorjam and you will be fine. good luck.

Might be a stupid question, but how does it mount (aside from the Velsro mentioned in the last post)? Do you have to do any drilling into your existing A-Pillar?
