i was goin to get it chiped at waterfest and i was going to put coils on it and a few other things the turbo kit i will fo way down the road...

I owned an 2001 a4 before the s4. If you chip the car make sure you do it by a shop in your area that is an official dealer to that chip, so than if something is wrong you have someone close in your area to go to and complain. Most of the chips are pretty much the same. If you upgrade the wheels you have to do suspension and lower the car because it looks like a 4x4 if you don't, also if you ever upgrade the turbo on the a4 don't go below the gt28rs, the ko4 is only good if you plan on doing autocross, but beside that the k04 is pretty much weak. Also the a4 1.8T could handle about 350-400 hp without ever changing any of the engine internals or the tranny. The clutch will probably go if you launch it alot with that much horsepower.

Yeah but those other wheels are a lot cleaner looking that yours. I personally don't like the second set of wheels either, but the ones you have on are just gawdy and way too busy IMHO.

the reason for the 19s were, it came with 17s and it was pointless to go up one size. and i wanted something that was dark in the center and a pollish lip. i wanted a 8.5 because the 9s were to wide and the bolt patter made it veary hard to find a wheel i liked and now i have found them. i know it looks like a 4X4 but at the sametime it is quattro, but i am going to lower the car but $ doesnt grow on trees so it loos dum now but will look great lowerd.

I would stick with the stock 17s. They look much better. Those 19s look really heavy.

well the fist owner bent all the stock 17s and i really wanted a 19 because it big and diff and i dont like small wheels and they really arnt heavy at all and im not looking for a track car or anything

Either the apr or the revo are both great software. I suggest doing a search on forums.vwvortex.com

Not to scare you, but one of my friends had to rebuilt his motor on his 2001 A4 1.8t last year due to an oil pump failure.

The Revo and Apr chips are the same.
AND the apr/revo both raise govenors

Rims are ugly.......dont like the 2 tone.......is it vinyl? Im guessing so, since you dont have money for springs, then you dont have money for paint......I think it looked better stock, but to each their own.
