Questions about my new cai

Whats this big hole for one the first picture does somethin go in there?? I havnt looked on the car yet just wondering. Looks like I got everything the clamps are in another box.

Well havnt tried it out yet waiting on the new K&N wish someone knew a week ago the size of the pipe now I have to wait a week or more cause they are out of stock. I did make sure I wiped them out real good with laquor thinner cause there were small amounts of metal I took paper towels and pushed them through with a hose. Then the vent tube was sticking up a bit on the inside and I sanded it down with my dremel but now im happy with it.

Heres the way the grooves go inside does anyone have a pic of the inside of the injen i think i heard they were a swirl pattern before. Pictures are hard to see unless you download them.

injen looks the same. it's just marks from the making of the pipe and bending of it.

i sanded and used cut and polish on the inside of my injen. very mirror like now

I thought about doin that hmmmmm what you use to get all the way down in the long pipe.

with great difficulty. i got in as far as i could with my hand using the sand paper, then the rest was cut and polish on a rag and pulling it back and forward through the pipe. not as good as sandpaper, but still worked pretty good
