Weapon R damper Kit-Need someone for prototype

took them long enough to make one of these for us. I'd drive from san jose if it didn't take more than a half day. Its just a mini shock absorber right?

He mailed back already. Says its already done. I replied back asking when are they coming out. Good s***

Awesome!!! I'm glad this was done. Now we just have to wait for it. I wondered whose car they used for the prototype.

He also claims these are better than mounts. I guess the engine actually moves less than more solid mounts. Hopefully they picked a good spot that will absorb more of the vibrations

Prototype Pics from Weapon R

Just got these pics in.

One more pic

Not sure how this would be installed with the strut bar. I wished there was a photo with the strut bar on. According to Leo, it was prototype on a mazdaspeed protege, but the body of the car is white. It's probably a protege with a mazdaspeed engine cover.

UPDATE
Just got the following email from Leo

"The car came with the stock strut bar. You have to modify the stock strut
bar slightly to get this to fit."

UPDATE 2

About modding the strut bar bracket

"You have to trim some of the strut plate on the strut bar."

or

"If you want we can make you one custom.
It will cost you around $300"

So does anyone want to be a guinea pig?

Just sent them another email asking for price and production date. They are usually pretty quick with their replies.

seriously, that's pretty tight... i wish they made it the way they have the evo damper with the separate plate... that i would buy... MUCH easier than new motor mounts.
