Stock boost, will find out exact number soon(boost gauge should be in the mail.)

I had some detonation after 5k, you can see where the AFR gets a little dangerous on the chart in that area. Will soon be adjusting fuel maps accordingly.

And here it is. 171hp 172tq

Stock boost, then of course is a mazdaspeed.

If you had detonation @ 5krpms then the ecu is not retarding, I thought the MSP ECU would do some retard?

Is your ECU flashed with the new version?

Those numbers are ver very good for stock boost.

Very nice and flat graph. A full exhaust should produce about 15whp more. I would say you're at ~7psi

Yes, a little TOO flat on the top end. Can't wait to get an exhaust on there. It's in the plans...

yikes thats horrible! I'll get working on a new map asap...I had a feeling the ported IM and fmic were going to mess with the maps....your hp is right on the money from our, but your tq is 25 below which i think is due to the a/f ratios....im betting i'll get ya another 10-15whp and atleast 30tq with the new map...give me abotu a week or so to build it....

When I put on a downpipe(and possibly catback), you think my maps will be way off again?

hahahaha wait a minute thats with stock exhaust? wow.....yes the dp and exhaust will change the map...anything that changes the airflow will change the characteristics of the map....

Received my boost gauge in the mail yesterday. Should know by tonight what "stock" boost is.

Since I am going rich from 3.4-3.6k rpm, does that mean I am flowing less air than stock in that range?

I was just comparing mine to the original AFC dyno results.

I put the boost gauge in today, and it looks like I got 5.5-6 psi. Although I think this gauge reads 80% lower than it should. I'm still investigating the reliability of it.

Hey peepalot do you get a hesitation in 2nd gear like its not pulling hard in 2nd until about 5000 rpms them it takes off like a rocket. I do.

I bet that the VTCS removal is what leaned you out in the higher RPMs using the stock maps. You are probably getting much better flow than the stock IM does. Get that exhaust on there and you'll reall open it up! It's amazing how your car's torque just drops off at 5200. I can't wait to see it when DSM sends the new map.

No I haven't noticed anything like that. Although, I haven't been taking it above 5k since the dyno anyways. You should try getting some wideband data to check out your fuel curve.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for the new map. *plays jeopardy theme*

I want that exhaust on there so bad, but I also want it jet hot coated first. Some time next week I'll get my sorry ass down to UPS and ship it off. I've been busy trying to screw with all my other halfassed mods that are breaking my car. I suck. I'm off to try to install my rear motor mount... round 2.

hey peepsalot i had mine dynod last week its was horrific numbers in 3rd gear pull it put down 179whpand 180 tuq. Very bad numbers. on 8 psi.

new map is sent! Let me know what you think Hans....might need a little more fine tuning but should be a noticable performance difference....apparently the fmics are driving the ecu nuts when it tries to go into closed loop!
