Winter FI/Engine projects?

Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered the rods and pistons today.

what did you order? I got my Oliver long rods and my CP 8.5:1 pistons now, they are sweet looking, to bad the motor was not transparent so you could see them at work

congrats... you should be able to REALLY put some boost to it now... your times should be pretty damn nice after that (as if they weren't great already) lol

Yeah I'm hoping for 12.5-7's on stock tires next year.

Well I'm pretty much finished on the s-pipe and manifold. If you've seen the inside of the stock s-pipe and it's shape you can appreciate how much work was done.

im going to install this IAT sensor and hope like hell it makes my car work. then im going to install the 7.5psi spring and new clutch and ill be happy forever. or until my engine blows.

Here's a comparo of the stock injector against the stage1 srt-4 injector (577cc).

I'm going to try them in the primary side, just so when I can't get it right Nick can tell me "I told you so".

hmmm, nice.
looks like I gotta contact mazda and inform them that my stock cp pistons and oliver rods didn't come from factory anf they should replace them under warranty
