nice pics. i wish i had some good shots of mine. i also wish my ES was as light as the DX. :(

yeah i have no pics of my car either. how much lighter is the DX than the ES?
I jusst looked up on edmunds and it says the cars weigh the same which is odd.

edmunds sonetimes just enters a single weight for allthe models. for example, the '95 ES is listed at ~2350 (which i found out is the DX weight). the '96 ES is listed at ~2550, as are all '96 proteges. if the ES was actually in the 2300lb range, i would hop on that as an STS ride right away. but alas... :(

i know my fully-loaded (sunroof, spoiler, etc) '02.5 ES weighed 2624 at the NEDiv this year. it was stock, except for:

-removed spare tires, mats, trunk mat
-1/3 tank of gas
-mx-6 wheels + azenis (about the same weight as stock)
-MSP springs/struts/rear bar

i'm pretty sure rustychops' DX was under 2500.

I weighed it at a truck stop once, which only went down to 20 lb increments, so this is a best guess of +/- 20 lbs, but anyway it came in at 2460 lbs. I had a '96 DX too, and it was lighter for sure, but I never weighed it. The 1.5L was a wheezer. Ugh
