2009 Mazda5 radio won’t change stations

Hello,

I have a 2009 Mazda5 and the radio died. I replaced it with an OEM used radio from another 2009 Mazda5 and while it works, I am unable to change radio stations. Is there some sort of reset I need to do or did I possibly get a bad head unit?
