thats one ****** up tire...how the hell did ya manage that???Prolly driving the speed limit and obeying all traffic laws right ;)

that's an AVS ES100 isn't it? pretty tough tire, how'd you do that?

those look like yokahomas? avs es100s i got them..great tires :D

opps didnt even know leppy said they were the avs es100s i thought i was the first... :( oh well

but yeah how did you do that?

I just had to switch my wheels last week... got steelies for the front with winter tires... but my last set of tires were down to the threads. btw its so annoying when those things break loose and flap against your wheel well :p

Lol.
Yeah, they're the Yoko ES100s. Camber was off for a little while, then one day on the way to work I hit a pothole which put my front tires with major toe out (I could smell the tire burning as I drove the rest of the commute), so that probably just sped up the process. So, that and the regular abuse just didn't help, but it was mainly bad alignment.
It peeled off gradually and I had been driving on those tires for about 1000 miles before just giving in and going back to my stock wheels/tires.
I got around 35K miles from these tires, I guess I should be happy, but I could've squeezed out 5K more.

Kids, always check your alignment (thumb)

Humm...
Without money for new tires... I'm actually considering putting these back on.

Damn, I just threw out some 215/40/17 Kumho ASX's that were just barely getting to the wear bars.....Coulda given you those...
