I know... but mine was turning all brown, so I am going to have it thermal coated. Anyways, it doesn't get much hotter without the shield on.

WOO HOO! no diggity no doubt! lol yea i am thinking about taking the wire brush to m ine as well and possibly jet coating the heat shield black and accent the "mazdaspeed" yellow.....should look decent.
