Do you have the 2nd pic in extrememly high resolution (1920x1200)? Also, did you take that pic, or did someone else, and is it photoshopped or were there actual huge lights put under the waterfalls?

Thanks!

yeah, thanks for the props. i took that pic on friday, august 13, 2004. niagara at night is lit up by giant spotlights across the way. if you want the hi res version (3072x2048), PM me your address where you want it sent. there was a 10 minute fireworks show and i was able to squeeze off a few shots.

Wow.

So how do you guys take such nice pics? You all should start a "How-to" thread on taking great photographs.

all he did was put the camera on a traffic cone and let it take auto pics lol. he has a sony digicam ,can't remember what model.

Another thing, if you didn't know, you can set the ISO settings to 100 and like a second before a car goes by, take a picture... so the lights blur and leave everything that didnt move crystal clear.

Random pic i took for photo class a few years ago, just was messing around with the camera...

tell me what you think...

hey "excitement"

nice pics! one cool thing to do with those long shutter shots is get a flash light and "paint" your car with it real fast as the shutter is open... that will lighten up the car and prolly give it a cool effect.

meaning point the light at the car and then move it around to different spots real quick... just something different to try next time... nice shots.
