Hit some scattered glass on the road tonight

After I hit some medium sized glass on the road, I noticed my steering response was a bit sluggish and when I came to a stop I heard repeated soft crunches...The car doesn't feel right I just can't figure it out. Any ideas?

I thought maybe I was just too paranoid, but my fiance heard the same noise when I was stopping. She felt it was strange too because if didnt make this noise earlier only after hitting the glass. She told me they were medium sized glass left over from some kinda of accident.

If it looked like glass left over from an accident then you shouldn't worry about it. All cars have tempered safety glass designed to shatter into pieces - and those shattered pieces are no more harmful than ordinary gravel. You could pick it up and grind it into your hand and it wouldn't harm you.

Just checked my car. The tire pressure was almost 25-30 psi for all four tires, but the most probable cause of my problems is the left rear bushings. It's slightly torn. My dealership replaced only the right bushing last month but kept the left. I'll get a pic here after I get a spare tire on my fiance's sentra.

Pictures of the left bushing

Here's the pic. It looked like it was torn apart or something.

Man that pic just shows how screwed we all are until we get a real fix. This makes me sad :(

I was really hoping to buy Mica's clunk fix, but I haven't heard any news of it being picked up...Believe it or not the dealership told a day and a half to decide to change just the right bushing. They didn't install the updated front bushing or even acknowledge that there was a flash for the msp. I'm going to another dealership later this week.

Took about 1/2 hour last time I had them replaced. Funny that we can say, "Last time I had my bushings replaced, " like it's brake pads or something.

that install is exactly why some of you have the 156E's fail and some do not. We are at the mercy of an idiot mechanic that is in a rush and won't do the job right. On top of that , they have NO training on our cars.

newf- Actually only a select few of the techs were sent to the MSP class. It actually was a joke. All we did was look at the differences between a MSP and a regular protege......didn't really do anything else.

believe me I know all about it. after spending 2 years fighting with Mazda Canada, Japan and USA, as well as Racing Beat, I know all about Mazda's "Mazdaspeed" training or lack thereof. And the worse thing is, it's not just the average joe mechanic that's the problem, it's even their Mazda super duper techs...LOL. Even the damn engineers. Been there done that.
