Though I would of loved to wait to get the beef-ed up 08 model, the 07 will do just fine. Though I wished they made a supercharger for the 07 models!! Maybe the aftermarket will prevail for Mazda next year.
If they didn't delay the 08's I would of waited. Because the 07 v6 is lacking quite of...
I haven't heard anything about a Supercharger either. Though I do say Mazda was sadly missing a stock SC model this year comparing it to it's competition.
I think I'll just quict smoking and use the 200 extra a month on a bigger car payment for the new 08' models. That is if they ever come!
I'm liking the new capabilities of the new 3.5L and 3.7L V6's. 250 Bhp I believe with much room to build on. I can imagine a 300+ Bhp with a super charged V6. They even said the new durtecs can be twin-turbo'ed but in reality the price of a car like that would be at least 30k+. If Mazda can...
That's the one thing I don't get about insurance. You pay just in case you get into an accident, but as soon as you do it's like taking out a loan at a bank for 3 years.
6s.
Turns out I destroyed the alloy wheel and bent a hub bearing. The mechanic also said the upper control arm needed to be adjusted. Though if one had to be adjusted...so did the other.
Turned out to be around 1100 dollars worth of damage.
It would of been only 500 if it wasnt for the hub...
My steering is actually still responsive. I would have a heck of a time turning if my suspension was screwed. Just over 30 mph it gets wobbly. Could it just be I screwed up the balance or alignment?
I opened up a claim with my insurance co. just in case.
My right front tire smashed into a curb today. Part of the tire is colored concrete and the cap is a little chewed up.
I thought I got off easy but now my steering is a little wobbly over 30mph.
Worse case scenario?
It's Sunday of course and everything is shut down. I want to get it...
Go figure. After a post of how i fell in love with my mazda the damn thing now has a check engine light. I likely blew a valve or something that recycles emissions from the exhuast.
Hey...maybe I can ask the dealer ship to throw in a supercharger for free eh? Maybe not...
And the V6 did get some "love" over at ***************

It's interesting to see if they actually make a production turbo for the v6 even if it's only 5-6 psi of boost. Though a part like that is only for die-hards who want to spend 4-5k which...
You're dead right. It handles and looks a lot better than most of them. Not to mention it's about 4-6 grand less than the competition. So if you think about it, adding a 600 dollar CP-E MAFci and maybe 1k in headers, and you have yourself a 230 hp light weight sports sedan.
