Can you take a picture with the hood down, and a few feet away? I think I like the way that looks.

Also, did you remove your mazda symbol, or paint it?

Weeeerd. Looks a TAD off color wise (maybe), but still looks nice. Post more pics when you get the logo back. Leave the logo silver tho.

yes, ill be doing a shitload of new pics with the emblem on, i have to match it up to some paint for the dohc letters first. it matches way better up close than in these pics.

Yeah, it's hard to tell in the pics because there is more light on the hood than on the grill...so it's tough to make the call.

DO NOT color match your washer jets. That will make your car look really bad. that as bad as having those washer jets that light up at nite. I got a great idea just paint your whole car blue!! lol You need some thing to stand out and be diffrent colors. Like or not those my thoughts.

There is a fine line between the monochromatic look and the "didn't tape off stuff before painting". Don't do the washer jets! If you do, paint the windows and the lights blue, too.

(On the other hand, does anyone remember - I think it was Wings West - the Mazda Pro with a black insert on the hood? That looked great...used the "V" shape of the hood very nicely.)

On a different note: Are those braided lines in the engine photo real or covers?

i think you are all WRONG! :D

just kidding, geez!

any way, i color matched the washers on my wife's civic, and it made the front of the car look completely different. just make sure you take them off the hood before you try to do it.
