So, now that I am in Southern Arizona, I don't have to worry much about passing emissions, thus I can start looking at the turbo conversion. However, where do you find the turbo manifold? I know there are many other parts needed, but one way or another, I am certain I can source them. But I can't find a source for the turbo exhaust manifold, even aftermarket. I must suck at internet searching......... Any help?

I’ve been looking too, at least for something aftermarket. If I find a good one I’ll send you my old one. Or if you want my old b series manifold and t3 turbo it just needs the downpipe mated to the midpipe and some repairs. There’s also a top mount turbo manifold I see on Amazon but that would take a custom downpipe.

I am getting my intermediate pipe cat removed next Monday to just straight pipe it.

Well, was going to have my intermediate pipe/cat taken out and fabricated into a 2" straight pipe. Shop first told me no more than $200, but when I got final estimate before dropping it off, they said somewhere between 490 and 575. I told them forget it, I will do something else. Researching now, I think I can fab it up with exhaust flange pipe adapters and straight pipe, clamped at first, but once I get it right, I can take it to a friend that can weld it solid for me and I can bolt it back in. Unless someone here knows who sells the intermediate pipe minus the cat. Got any ideas?

So, within the last couple of weeks, my clutch pedal started sticking whenever I held it down too long. This obviously presented some issues getting in and out of gear and made driving a little difficult. I bled the system at the slave cylinder a couple times, but it didn't really help. I figured next course of action is to simply replace both of the cylinders since they were original 22 year old units. The new ones arrive tomorrow, so I took the old ones out tonight. Not trying to rub it in, but it is so nice working in a garage with air conditioning and the convenience of a sink to wash up after working on the car. I've also included another picture of the headers. Also, the box on top of the car is a new set of Pioneer speakers for front and rear doors. Sorry some of the pix are rotated. That is how they loaded here and I can't figure out how to rotate them back.

I've had my P5 since '03 when I bought it brand new from the dealer.

Somehow it still has all of the stock speakers in place. Man I've been wanting to upgrade for a LONG time but just haven't gotten around to it. Those Pioneers should be a huge upgrade.

Merry Christmas to all P5 Brothers and Sisters. I did get the Pioneers speakers installed and with the factory sub and tweeters, wow! It is such a deep and immersive sound in the whole car. I turn it up loud and nothing distorts. Very satisfied. I still have the original P5 speakers so if anyone is interested.....

Also, I have a complete front suspension and steering linkage kit to put in, maybe this weekend. It still feels good, but I need an alignment and am getting coilovers soon, so I thought I would freshen up all the original components, get the coilovers, and then the alignment. 17" wheels and tires are in the works, along with a plastidip spray job, something like this:

Hey if you don't mind, can you post the Pioneer part numbers? We're also rocking originals and would be a nice move up. Thanks! Also, I just had the rack and pinion replaced with an original Mazda part someone left on a shelf and outer tire rods. Made a world of difference.

Ok, so I finally refined the mix of LED bulbs in the instrument cluster. I've got the main gauges all blue now, the warning indicators on the right a deep red instead of pink and I put the incandescent bulbs back in the turn signal indicators because they were too bright and distracting with white LEDs in them. I plan on doing the same when I install my header.

Yes. I pulled the intermediate pipe to try to clearance the headers flange from the oil pan and while I was at it, I took a grounding rod and hammer to the catalyst in the secondary cat. It was still intact, but 23 years old. Took about 20 minutes to completely clean it out.

So, besides fooling around with the P5 when I can, I also have a 2015 Ford F250 Superduty. Just recently did a emissions delete, straight piped it and put a tune on it. It works soooo much better now
