What have you done to your Miata today?

Braces look good Mark, any noticeable difference?

Sorry Mike, no selfies were taken. I only have the pic of the cars and part of his sto n sho plate holder for proof.

Haven’t really gave ‘em a go yet...Sunday off to a large cars and coffee at Fort Adams in Newport. Got the new bracket about an hour ago, back in business!

They’re definitely thicker, but no where near dragging on the ground. I’m lowered about an 1” on progress springs. I’ll measure them tomorrow.
So here’s the measurement. 1-1/4” All the braces are the same thickness.
The stock braces are 9/16”, so about 11/16” thicker

The real clearance test will be backing out of my driveway. When do you want to come down and test it? lol

Those braces look nice, just as their FSTB does. Speaking of, maybe I will get that Megan FSTB installed this weekend. Also need to do an oil change and swap the summer tires onto the boy's car. Just moved him back home for the summer.

Parking in the street next visit! 😉
Installed some bling pin stripping today.

Nice little touch!

I will make a reminder to remind me to remind you to angle out.

Agreed. When is your next one?

More progress today. Finished putting the front bumper cover back together. Not sure if I will put the fogs back in, may put in some brake cooling ducts.

Bled the brakes and tomorrow will put on the front bumper cover, wheels and finally get it out of the shed. Insurance next week and make a date to install the goodwin mid pipe, change the fluids in the diff, tranny, and get the AC recharged.

Today was the first wash of the season in the driveway. I cleaned the top with some 303 cleaner and then sprayed some Wolfgang top protectant on and I am letting it cure now.

I also changed the oil. Second oil change since getting the car in August but first time doing it myself. I found that I am missing four of the nine bolts for the shield that protects the oil pan and a few that were remaining were tough to break free. While the pan was empty, I installed the Fumoto F106SX drain valve. When I was finished I torqued the five bolts on the shield to 25 ft.-lbs.

June 12. Brake cooling ducts would be, well “cool”!

Bruce and Jeff, don’t forget the sign up for the Miata Reunion opens Saturday June 5th @ 9am!

Cars and coffee today in Newport at Fort Adams, great morning and turnout! The pinto squire wagon was mint! Check out the license plate,😂

Love the old pinto wagons.

Finally got her done. Out of the boat house and in the sunlight.

First time on the road since Oct 2019. New wheels are in but not on yet. Waiting on insurance, hopefully by the end of the week. Drove her for a quick run to bed the brakes. Changing the rear spoiler this week and new GW midpipe.

Was weird to drive her, she seemed small after all the time in the 3.

Pumped about Oct. Hoping no snow. Would love to hang with you guys, I'm in.
