Anyone have a favorite place that they buy their OEM parts from? I am looking to replace my brake pads.
Thanks!
i've found that parts.com has the lowest prices, but they do not offer free shipping.
Medcenter mazda who is a sponsor of this site also had good prices and offers free shipping on orders over $100.

I am not beholden to OEM pads, I guess my only concern was that I didn't want to be worried about aftermarket pads eating up my rotors. Do you know if the factory pads are ceramic or organic based pads?

I know they're a sponsor and all but dang, those same pads are $55 on Amazon, and cheaper than MedCenter on a number of other Mazda parts sites.
I think those are the "mazda value line" pads.

those are $47.56 on medcenter
Fair enough. PowerStop or Raybestos pads are still half the price and probably just as good or better than OEM.
I'm with you I'd get OEM pads for my Mazda too although they may not be the best or the most cost effective! I simply like to keep everything original in my vehicles. Thanks all for the tips, I ended up going with parts.com and got the front/rear pads for about $63 and $52 respectively. I also picked up an OEM air filter/AC filter as well. Total out the door about $161.
The differences in price between OEM and OEM-like products wasn't that great so I just went w/OEM.
As for rotor change, I'll change at 100k miles. They seem fine for now.

Do take advice from PatrickGSR94, if you don't replace the rotors, resurface them before you put in the new pads.
New rotors every time for me... resurface just meant quicker warping symptoms on any vehicle I have owned. My former '02 Maxima and current G35x eats a set ever 30K miles.
