CX-5 over a Forester?

It's a cutesy curvy roundy soft edged cuv.

I'm attracted to cutesy, curvy bodies with rounded forms. What could possibly be better than that?

All my motorcycles are girls too.

Are you saying you prefer more masculine bodies? (boom02)

However, since it's broken, I find myself wishing I had gotten the Forester.
Sorry for this out of topic question, but apparently I missed something. What happened on your CX-5? And can you point me out where were the posts or stories of your broken CX-5?

Yup, same version loaner, only silver. We actually were having second thoughts and considering bumping from the Touring to the Grand Touring, but we have decided to just stay with the Touring. Hopefully sometime next week the CX-5 will arrive.
I'm really pleased with how my Dad seems to be with this car though because I really wasn't expecting him to like it as much as he did. Then again, he has owned a few Miata's and loved them to pieces.
Down the road I plan on getting a CX-3 completely for myself as well. I test drove one of those and that is my true desire in the Mazda family. I totalled my tricked out 2013 Honda Fit two months ago and the CX-3 is now calling me, but that's for another topic!

Dude, seriously, posting pictures of yourself like that is inappropriate. Absolutely terrible!

Unobtanium didn't post it, I did. My preference is not ammosexual. This is a new gender identity that has become more popular these days.

Scary!

I pray that you do your own work on your PC. That SSD should never see the light of day, I'm betting.

We had a client buy one over the CX5 then trade it in with us 3 months later.
Throw him some specs on the predictive AWD or the Skyactiv platform and get him to drive one.

Are you looking at the manual CX-5 (I believe there is one but haven't seen it in person)?

It's a cutesy curvy roundy soft edged cuv. Nothing is going to make it masculine. If you care about image as a male, don't buy one. Thats my advice. I personally don't much care about what people think my vehicle says about me, so it didn't hold much weight. However, I obviously wish it were more broad shouldered and angular and manly, if I had had my say in it.

I would say "If someone's identity as a male depends on the shape of their car, they've got bigger problems than the styling of a CX-5".

(I note your personal comment about that and agree with you.)

The CX-5 is never going to pass for a macho Mad Max vehicle, no matter what wheels one puts on it.

Mazda is the brand that can claim lowest overall cost of ownership, also the Skyactive fuel economy over the Forrester should be a point for the Mazda too.

Maybe while it's under warranty. I really can't express the level of rage I have right now looking out the window at snow piling up for the first time this year, and knowing my busted ass mazda has no awd anymore for the time being be clause the rear differential is kaput. I know s*** like this should not bother me. I deal with blood, s***, and dying people all the time for a living and all is well. ..but this. I guess it's what liberals would call "a trigger" and this thread might be "a micro aggression", lmao!

Pffft! You're not going to irritate me, MikeM. I don't pay a dime for you aside from social security, which you claim to have paid much more of...my mazda on the other hand...I do have vested interest in...

If you have good snow tires your about to find that AWD is no big deal.

What Mazda is it? Sounds like a CX9. Mazda extended the warranty on the transfer case because they recognize quite a few people were having problems. Have you checked with the dealer about it?
