If she puts mods on it I'd bet she'd be extra carefulMy wife plays bumper cars with her CX-5. It's had a ding or a scrape somewhere damn near since day 1. Lmao
I feel you, OP. I bought my wife's in March of 12, and by early June, it was already on the receiving end of a fairly significant hit and run. It was in autobody repair all of June.![]()
(yes) I hate those people who open the door, hit the other car next to it hard, don't care a bit, and walk away like nothing happened! (notcool)You ought to be upset by the carelessness! It's every bit as bad. This is actually second damage. The first one caused by a door bump of other car when I parked in front of a busy restaurant on day 2. That left a two inches scratches, to the paint layer on the left passenger side door of my CX-5, I was not that upset since I do not think people intentionally did it.
That sucks. If you don't have a Dual Action Polisher I suggest you get one, they come if very handy and are very easy to use. Harbor freight actually sells one that is quite good and appears to be from the same manufacturer as one of the more expensive brands. It's just re-branded. It the same as the Griots HD polisher. Harbor freight pads aren't half bad and they also sell the Mequiars M105/M205 polishes. Pick that stuff up and you should be able to greatly reduce those scratches if not completely remove them.
