What have you done to your MSP today?

I am dropping full coverage on #1345 and doing liability on both MSPs, considering their value these days full coverage seems excessive sometimes. I paid around $110 for full coverage before with USAA (24, only one accident and at least 3-4 speeding tickets).

I had comprehensive without even knowing it for about 6 months and when I realized it, I dropped it to limited liability.

I paid $425 for 6 months for liability up until I turned 18. Then it dropped to like $380.

Speaking of car shows, I go to Automotion every year. It's held in the Dells at the waterpark parking lots. There's a rediculous amount of cars that come to that. Here's a few pictures from last year. It's May 15th this year for anyone interested.

There is getting to be a lot more tuner's showing up though.

I would rather see exotics and muscle cars at a car show than 'tuners', usually import show cars are riced out shitboxes, even if they do nice work.

Got plates and a registration sticker for #1574! Who's got two Mazdaspeed Proteges that run and are legal to drive on the street? This fuggin guy

meh. carshows and gathering should bring everyone who loves cars together. not just the old dudes with a hard on for their muscle cars, or the few that can afford exotics. we all love to burn gas and gofast/look good going slow lol. we are gettinga track put in up island soon but its being funded by the german auto import network here. we kind of figure it will be an exclusive golf club for rich snobs who buy rediculous bimmers and shyte. kinda sucks.. hopefully im wrong and the local clubs will be able to buy tracktime at a reasonable rate..

Church.

I go to all kinds of shows, but the quality cars never show up to the 'import meets'. Usually slapped-together 240s and honduhs.

The battery light keeps coming off and on in #1574, I hope the alternator isn't going out. Its kinda weird driving the same car with far less power and little differences like not having a subwoofer and no LED lights or HIDs. But I sure do like having a working AC in time for summer! Not to mention a car with 57k fewer miles (and 142k fewer on the motor).

Around here, there is a clear divide between the subclasses of car enthusiasts at the meets. At one large, former meet you had the classic/muscle cars on one side of the parking lot, the late model "muscle" cars in one area, a cluster-**** of ricers right in the center, then the high horsepower (Supras 800 and 1100hp, a couple of 240s one around 650hp, a Civic hatch with 550whp, Corvettes, GTRs, etc.) cars on the other side of the parking lot.

A funny thing is that a lot of murican cars (or parts at least) are made over seas and a lot of "import" cars are made in the states now. lolz. I mention that fact to murican car fan boys.

At the very least the majority of the components installed in them are from overseas. I guess they're "assembled in the US."

First and foremost I would like to kindly request to not troll me please. I'm looking for honest guidance/help. I was searching on craigslist and found this beauty. A 2001 protege MP3. It has a FS-ZE swap with 45k miles on the motor. Keep in mind, my msp has 133k miles. It has Coilovers and the Subaru roof wing. I know some of you may say its a ricebox but man I'm loving this thing. Do you think I should trade my msp for this? Here's a pic:

Don't got the money for that bro. It's either trade or no deal. Hes looking for a trade more so. I don't think there was a price on the ad.

i love mp3's. i would test drive it first. the fsze in the mp3 should be real fun but the msp has room for more potential if you're looking for more power in the future .

Thanks bro. Were trying to set up a date to meet but he hasn't responded. If its meant to be, it'll happen. If not, then it is what it is. I'll keep the forum posted.

Mp3 pretty rare but not a worthwhile trade. How many miles on chassis? I'd just save up and buy it. Besides...orange wheels? No thanks.

wheels are easily replaceable though. least of your concern for getting a car hehe.

I had a pair of mp3s before I switched over to the msp. My personal opinion would be to keep the msp and do the things that you love about that to it. The fsze isn't all that special unless you have the ecu and such, you'll be left wishing for more power. The way I see it you can mod your car for looks or that car for power - you know what you have, you don't know anything about that...
