It seems like most MSP owners are 16 these days, more than half the posts on here are a complete joke.

I replaced the timing belt tensioner from the new MSP with the blown motor to my DD MSP. It was coming loose and the belt was rubbing on the cover. The water pump is leaking out the weep hole so it's time for a new pump and timing belt again. Currently shopping for a new (used) block for the new MSP so I can get it together ASAP

On a side note: (story time!) my buddy just bought a sh*tbox civic si with a B20 block and stock B16 head, godspeed T3/T4 turbo and he dyno'd at @285hp 255tq at the wheels on only 9lbs. which are impressive numbers even if they are artificially inflated like a typical dyno's readings are. Anyway he thinks he can outrun my Bullitt that runs 12s in full street trim/tires and I have personally outrun multiple speed3s the fastest running 20psi on E85. And I'm telling him to race the MSP first, I know I won't win but I really want to see how much power my car is making and what it would do against the little 2500lb sh*tbox.

I just got back from having my oil feed line adapter made and noticed an Evo VIII in the parking lot that was clearly modified. Well, it belonged to the guy making the hose for me. We got to talking and holy s***...

Low boost setting is 30psi
High boost is 52psi
740whp on 35psi, 840whp on 45psi, 920whp on 52psi...
It just spins on 45+psi, so he keeps it on 30psi to daily drive it.

The mods he listed were insane. He can rev it to 9,500rpm. 4" downpipe to 3.5" exhaust. His bottom end alone was $7,000. He took me outside and popped the hood... I've seen AND HEARD the car before when I saw him eat a Camaro SS alive on the interstate a couple of months ago, but I didn't think it'd have the kind of power he said he's making, but makes since with how easy he walked away from the Camaro.

He then asked me what the turbo was going on and how much power I was making... LOL

I'm not saying it's ricer with them more so that everyone (car people included) that passes you will think that it is.

a local cop told me that as long as you have a windscreen of some sort that it was legal after talking about a s10 that was rolled over and a friend was driving it around. said really the only thing that he could get a ticket for. and your tires look to have tread on them? why not full slicks. im going to try to pick up a pair for mine this spring.

Older pic. They have racing slicks now. There's many reasons I don't drive it on the street anymore though. Soon it won't have headlights. Just fiberglass or cf covers. Hoping I can do that over the winter.

If I were going to build a track specific car, I'd definitely go with a Protg.

In other news, I have the majority of my parts in plastic totes on my downstairs back porch under my second floor deck (and I stay on my third floor most of the time). I went outside last night to pull out three cylinder heads I have for someone and they were ******* gone. The tote was empty. My guess is my neighbors husband. He used to always hang outside on his back porch which is right beside mine and apparently my friend has seen him looking around while talking on the phone, but I didn't really think anything of it because he's just a strange little dude. She kicked him out about a month ago and he's randomly been seen there, but not going inside the house. And I've seen the dude have all kinds of scrap metal in his little trailer he has. My guess is he saw them, was smart enough to know they're aluminum and he'd get the most for them out of everything. Luckily, my MSM transmission is still there as well as alternators/starters/compressors I have. All the other stuff isn't really large enough or worth anything to take. I put the MSM transmission in my basement last night and brought my OE manifold and downpipe in too. I know at least one of those cylinder heads was good if not two of them. And that ******* sucks.
