Mazda Dealer Surveys?

How many got a "TIP" from your Salesman.... "I Don't Get Paid for anything Less Than a 10"! Seems like the Finance Manager also threw me something about a "10".

Being a Business Owner, if you are Not a 10... Don't ask for a 10 because the Owner Wants To Know.

I bought from the Second Dealer I went too. I probably should have gone back to the first one but I guess the second one played the game a little better.

I received an email from the Dealer about a Survey. As of today (two weeks later) I haven't seen anything.

I received surveys from both the dealer and Mazda corporate. I was reminded at least 3 times by the salesman, finance, and their manager during the sales transaction that they take nothing less than a "10" on the surveys. But my experience with the dealer was less than a "10". So I sent in the surveys accordingly with "8" or less on the questions. Otherwise, they won't know what they could improve upon if the survey say they were perfect but personally what I experienced they were not perfect.

I filled my survey out honestly, with a bunch of 2's and 3's.

Manager bitched me out next time I was in for service. I politely told him I was as honest as possible. Otherwise the survey is worthless.

Never went back. Rude, inconsiderate and incompetent.

When did you guys that got the surveys get them?? I got my CX-5 back in early June, and haven't seen the survey yet??

I was only encouraged by my salesman to give him all 10's. I reminded him that he didn't do me any favors in how hard I had to negotiate for the mediocre deal I got, so, I will be answering the survey honestly, when/if I finally receive it.

The service I went to is beyond terrible. I even went back thinking 'well let's give them 2nd chance, and third...' no improvement at all.

I am not going back for sure.

The dealership model is a scum that has been allowed to fvuck people for too long. I am happy that Tesla Motors as the first one sees that and breaks this as much as they can.

The dealers can screw anyone any way they want and there is nothing you can do. I now some are still good and honest but it is a rarity.

I truly hope that I don't have to go to regular dealership ever again.

Speaking of the surveys, those don't do nothing. Especially those from the dealer.

For some reason I never got a survey from Mazda when I switched to my current dealership which as mentioned is even worse than the old one.

I always make the "survey" part of any deal I negotiate. For example, "throw in all weather floor mats, and I'll bring you the sales survey I get so you can fill it out instead of me."

In an email I received last week there was something about "If we are Rated Anything Less Than 10 A Service Manager Will Call". WTF for?

The person that was Not Happy About your survey ratings... Should be Looking for a New Job. If they Don't Want The Truth, DON'T ASK!

I won't even get into the games the Salesman played with me and the Finance Manager. He tried to sell me an Extended Bumper to Bumper Warranty for $3,000.00. (eek2)

The surveys normally take a few weeks to arrive, so it won't be an immediate thing.

They are VERY important to the dealers because it influences the amounts of money and stock/car priority that they get. The sales people's paychecks are heavily influenced by the surveys. This is why some dealers really try to push for customers to give 10's. Because of this importance, being honest and giving them low scores truly affects them and would hopefully start some improvements. A good read from Edmunds. http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/why-car-salespeople-beg-for-top-customer-survey-scores.html

This is also why, as customers, we can use the survey as a bargaining tool (but saved for the end of the negotiation process when haggling over small amounts or small accessories). Here's a good read explaining how. http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/how-to-use-the-car-dealership-survey-as-leverage-to-get-1595835486

I wish I'd read those before making my "deal". Do all car makers do these surveys, and use them pretty much the same way?? Any that don't use them at all?? Seems like a pretty broad / blanket statement being made, can't imagine that every single car maker does this?? or do they??

I suppose when first starting talks with a salesman, maybe a non-nonchalant question of, "btw, does (fill in the brand) do a satisfaction survey after the sale??" Since neither side should feel threatened yet, he/she would probably answer honestly. ya think??

All car manufactures do this survey. It's one of the few ways the manufactures get customer satisfaction ratings on how the dealers are treating their customers. The dealer experience can make or break people from brands.

I wouldn't be surprised if a person didn't buy the same brand again because they had such a horrible buying experience from a particular dealer.

Since I haven't received mine by now, I'm assuming I'm not getting it. The salesman probably figured I would be honest on the survey, and probably changed my email address in their system, so I would never get it.

I received the notice for the On Line Mazda Survey today.

Well... I gave the Rats Bathards a 10 on everything. 10 EXCEPTIONAL!!! The Rule of rating employes for their Annual Review, No One Would Get EXCEPTIONAL on every darn thing. Ain't going to happen. After reading the two links on ratings, I couldn't do it to them. I'd rather give them all 10's and then write a letter to the dealership and tell them where they came up Short. Face it, Mazda should Know if there's any Surveys that come back all Flippin 10's is Impossible.

You more than likely are causing more harm than good. You gave them no areas to improve in

Sadly, I'm assuming I'm not getting one, if I haven't gotten it by now. It's been over 4 months, suppose to only take 4 weeks after purchase. I so wanted to give feedback!!

Yea but I'd rather them get paid... As leathery as I am, I still have a soft side. The question is, "Why Does Mazda Not Get Real On Surveys Ratings"? I doubt One person would Honestly Rate them a Perfect 10 on everything. I always b**** when I go through a Drive Thru but I'm thankful some of these people actually have a Job.

Hyundai has been dishing out these "10 or nothing at all" surveys for years. Has been and still is a big topic. In some cases, it actually determined who kept their job.
