I'd guess weight-savings and one extra caliper dedicated to the ebrake.

They are lightened as much as possible without removing contact material. It's a better alternative to slotting is my guess. They look pretty cool, but I'm sure they are loud as hell and are not very streetable.

they only need to dab the brakes to initiate the drift, other than that real drift cars have little need for brakes

Well, considering I pay for a large Time Warner internet plan, U-Verse TV with DVR, and Netflix, I'm not paying another ******* dime to watch a youtube video.

yea my GF doesn't have cable and they stream everything and watch a lot of movies. also enough sports for me are on the local channels which you don't need cable for.

I really need to bust out the Tamiya model cars or refinish the 77 Fender Bassman tube bass amp I've got I've been meaning to work on. Anything but more tv...

One of my old teachers would only have cable for like half the year, just to watch NBA stuff, then he'd drop the service until next year.
