Door & Dome lights turning on while driving (intermittent)

So I am driving to work this AM in a pretty heavy rain storm and my door and dome lights come on as well as the idiot light showing one of my doors is open. Since I am the only one in the car, I open and close my door really quickly thinking I had my door open partially. Still doesn't do anything.

Then all of a sudden the light flickers on and off then fades away like a normal operation. This happened before I had a chance to pull off the hwy to check my to see if my other doors are closed or my rear gate.

Just a few minutes later it happens again but for a shorter duration and turned off again. WTF is that all about?? (dunno)

Any ideas?

I had my front wipers on slow and the rear on intermittent. Also had my front and rear defroster running at a med fan speed & my driver side heated seat on. I messed with all these electrical accessories with no change.

Shooting from the hip I thought somehow water or condensation contaminated the door contact switch on my driver side door. I haven't looked yet to see if its protected with a rubber boot but it was the only thing that made sense (water gets in and shorts out the switch making contact??).

Anyone else have this issue? Ideas????? Should I bring this up to the dealer??

Hello
What is the final problem, because I have a similar problem. Non stop light is'' open door'' and you can not close the car with the remote control.

I had this happen on my old Honda because my wife closed the door on the seatbelt, and it dented the interior of the door where it meets the button that shuts off the light when the door is closed. I had to put a felt table pad on that spot so the button would press in all the way. If somehow one of the inside door panels got dented or out of whack, try something like that.
