Sorry but i gotta ask, you're cleaning the emblems really well before the first coat too, right? I usually use rubbing alcohol on a clean towel to wipe them down really well. Surface prep is key when painting, as I'm sure you know.

But yeah, probably just too cold. Stupid Ohio weather...

Isopropyl in a spray bottle, couple squirts then wipe em’ clean and give it some time to dry, between every first coat. Meh.. I'll try again when it warms up, if it fails then I'll say to heck with it!

Well, it appears my summer vacation is slowly getting booked. Rental car is booked for the trip as of this morning. I know I have made the drive 5 times, but I'm not looking forward to driving to Dallas, TX with the little one.

Whoa, that Lego Porsche set is awesome! Now if I could convince my son to stop doing the WWII MOCs. lol Speaking of we are going to PhillyBrickFest at the end of April. 1st road trip with the Miata (well since driving her home).

Any big plans for the weekend? We are heading to Indiana, PA tonight. Will grab a bite to eat and then crash at the hotel and then tomorrow is the tour of the IUP campus which is our daughters first choice for college.
