What engine i should for mazda2?

Hey, i'm live in thailand and i drive mazda2 too. I want to upgrade my engine for fight with HONDA JAZZ or TOYOTA VIOS,YARIS in thailand not have an accessories to upgrade my car to much then i think to use new enigine (What engine i should it must be 1500cc and mazda engine) to my car or you can help me to upgrade mzr engine for fight with another cars ,Thank you

My car just only change exhaust system but use orliginal header.

How about ecu remap or tuning with piggyback ? Now i think to reamap ECU and then tune with piggyback this way is ok for my car?
