Just got back from a few days in Amish country, had a nice house in delta pa on the river. Slept 16 comfortably. Brought home a few cases of yuengling!

Easy on the beer Mark ..

I hope you take the stencilling off. Little eye of the tiger??

Nice Mark.

Hopefully packing up and hitting the road today.
Woke up with helmet on my head , didn't noticed the tiger behind me at all ...

Yeah couldn't see much with label on so took it off already, helmet is bigger in person ... entry level model but good build , definitely will buy shoei when I get the bike.

doing service to g37s before the event, clutch, trans, rear diff fluid to be changed. Clutch fluid is black as hell .. never seen clutch fluid that dirty before let alone from a 4yr old car.

Had a fun Columbus Day weekend camping near North Conway. Went to a local fair in Sandwich, did a little hiking, and over 3,000 ft of elevation on the mountain bike. Came home with a nasty cold.

Nice! 90 to 71 to get to Cincy?
We are actually in Milford on 275.

Yup, 271 to 71 was a very nice highway, liked it alot. Better than the upper part of 81. Rig has been doing well with MPG, 8.6 7.9 and 8.7 today. Running at 57 mph, weather has been decent except for some heavy rain coming into Erie.

Parked in Walmart and a cop showed up right away, I'm thinking this is not good, but he saw our plates and just wanted to say high. Very nice, we talked for a bit, he had been to Ontario camping before.

Found a new option with the genny today. Got up this morning and turned on the genny and then turned on the electric heater on high, water heater and coffee maker. Genny still kept running but sounded like it wasn't under load. sure enough, everything is out. Stopped and started the gen and still no power. Sigh, checked the fuses, everything ok there. Pull out the manual for the genset and found that it too has a circuit breaker. Crawl under the slideout and open the genset panel and reset the circuit and bingo, power.

Heading for Dickson TN tomorrow. Looking at rain in the morning but clearing later.

Wow where is everyone??

Left Cinci this morning, pouring rain. 1st part of 71 wasn't that great, pretty bad actually to Louisville. Got better after that on 65 going by Bowling Green, drove by the Corvette Museum, forgot that was all there. I will have to go by on the way back.

Thru Nashville to Dickson TN where we are tonite. Weather got better as the day wore on. Supposed to be down to high 30's tonite.

Tomorrow on to Malvern AR.

place is dead, working on my stock list and permit for my electrical work to begin on the house next week.

bruce, drive safe, and yes you need to check out the vette museum totally worth it!! and if you have time do the factory tour at the plant across the street.

Thanks Mark, when do you hope to move in??

Pretty cold this am, 36F, waited till 7am to fire the genset and turn on the heater. Thankfully the propane heater kicks ass.

Morning. I've been helping take care of Tams dad. He had shoulder surgery early last week so we have been at the house quite a bit and Friday I was off so took him out for a bit to cash his check, get lotto tix etc.

Glad to hear the trip has been going well Bruce. I miss KY....beautiful country and such a different atmosphere from the NE. People are more friendly and everyone is not in a rush. At least that is the way it was 20yrs ago. haha

had such a great time at autox today! the course they designed was an absolute blast and i hope the next one in the big lot is even better! my friend who went to driving school was coaching me a little today and is saying ive got the mechanics pretty much down of how to drive the car which made me plenty happy. now i just need the better tires as he agreed that they are holding me back quite a bit!

also, definitely need to replace my heater core. had a drop of coolant on my foot after parade laps and a few more today

Hi All,

Beautiful day today, I65 to I40 and then to I30. Passed thru Jackson TN, Memphis TN, and then into Arkansas and thru Little Rock. Managed to catch 5 mins of the Pats game, they lost in OT to the Jets of all teams.

Thru my travels south I keep seeing signs at the various exits of Adult stores, peep shows, books and videos. Of course Mary wouldn't let me stop at any of them. Must be a lot of lonely truckers.

Mary got into reading the religious signs that litter the highways in the bible belt. She was reading them in a righteous agitated voice of a 20's temperance woman. I threatened to let her off at the 1st truck stop where she could practice being a lot lizard.

In a Walmart near Malvern AR. We were running low on fresh water. SO I purchased a couple of 5 gallon jugs and used the pump to suck them into the tank. Looked like we were siphoning gas out of the rig, we were getting some weird looks.

On to Porter TX tomorrow for our last night on the road. looking to arrive mid afternoon on Tuesday. Maybe alone.

Last nite in a Walmart for awhile. Good days travel from Malvern AR. The Walmart in Porter is very busy. I can barely hear the genny running over the traffic and a squadron of some kind of bird that Mary thought were Magpies but not. Very noisy and swooping down and dodging cars, feels like the movie The Birds.

Rig turned 10,000 miles today. We covered about 2,000 miles so far. Looking forward to parking it for awhile. I30 to Texarkana, then 59 thru upper Texas and finally in Porter just NE of Houston.

I had to laugh, most of 59 has a speed limit of 75, they slow you down to 60 going thru some of the towns.

Easy 5 hours to Port Aransas tomorrow. Mia is very dirty and will get a good cleaning tomorrow.

Bruce, your lifestyle is my dream retirement :) , what you do about maintenance on the trailer house .. Mark all you need is someone to sign papers and you plan to do wiring or the construction company is doing it so came back from nimp happy , lightning is short but quicker track and handful at times especially trying to go faster .. somewhat tired so will post a short clip sometime this week

So I'm friends with the guy who owns a shop here, and am now borrowing some things from him.

Now I can actually run errands and not have to call for a taxi all the time. And also MTB...

Neat what is that Ash?? looks cool.

I bought it new, do the oil changes myself, it's under warranty so if something breaks I call it in or take it to a Jayco dealer. Other than that just washing and cleaning, not much maintenance. Takes a while to wash from top to bottom.

Easy day travel but we are bushed. We are parked on one side of the dunes. Weather is in the low 80's and sunny for the next few days. Took a quick ferry across the Aransas Pass, FREE, and on to Mustang Island.

Once we parked the rig the next step was booze.

Going to explore the area tomorrow and get our bearings.

Total Mileage covered 2,230. Washed and cleaned Mia, boy was she dirty. Feels good to be driving something small.

It's a 12 year old Proton something-or-other. Desperately needs a new suspension, and you have to let off the gas when it's about to shift otherwise it clunks into gear. It's got character. Also there's an aftermarket steering wheel that's smaller than stock, so when I turn the wheel I keep hitting the wiper stalk.

Took the MTB out for the first time with a small group. Wow that was painful.

I'm hopping from meeting to meeting, and from job to job. Wonder how they expect anything to get done.
