Been lurking for awhile...time to join up. I've been driving a WRX for the last two years. I'll be buying a '14 whenever they release
the sGT with manual trans. Previous MZ3's were an '04 and an '06 hatch. Looking forward to the '14 .

For what it is worth, I just got the BROCHURE for the '14 Mazda3: Under sGT MANUAL TRANS it says NA or not applicable, like you will not be able to get a 2.5 with the MT.

When the '14 was launched a few months ago, some of the reviewers reported that Mazda told them a manual would be available at a later date. Mazda hasn't said yet when that will be.
