The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

this got my attention today:
http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/4113322774.html
Convertible rx7- fuel injection swapped out for a carburetor, and a turbo slapped on.
Lots of other stuff... but i can't figure out why the switch to carb.

maybe im just an ass but the second i saw the ad and the misspelling of convertible, i would never buy the car. if he cant spell convertible correctly (and its spelled wrong throughout the whole add) then how do i know he actually did anything correctly to the car? plus those are protege wheels not 3 wheels LOL

yeah going old school with a phone is easier to keep the drug deals on the down low haha

haha for sure. I bought the girl an ipad mini last christmas and I love the thing so I bought a 4g ipad mini and I'm getting rid of the smart phone for a rugged phone. Don't need two data plans and it will be kinda nice not having that distraction in class

Morning....loling here in the office from those Dodge commercials.

pmartz....not sure what you are looking to get for the phone but what about gazelle.com?

****Nick, skip this post in the event I might one day trade in the Monte Carlo****

After the hard rain the last couple days the Monte Carlo's passenger door is filled with water. It sounds like I'm right next to the ocean every time the momentum in the car shifts. Also the passenger rear carpet is soaked. Not like oh it's kinda wet, more like it's almost standing water.

Back when i worked AT&T, we sold a lot of burner phones to dealers. We always had to put a name on the prepaid account, so we would just put in presidents names. Funny seeing guys cracking up that they show up as George Washinton on caller i.d.

I will keep it if I can only get 150 for it. Seems like all those places are for people who need money right now for... umm activities. But I'm looking for like 300. They are selling for 325ish on clist and ebay right now. Also have two ipod touches for sale lol

Pa-lease. I would find out sooner or later. :)

When you open the door, does the water come rushing out or does it sit in the door?

It would be better that you found out after I traded it in.

Haven't tried to open it, not sure I want to. There was a puddle on the driveway under the door but there's still alot in the door (or area)

those little drain flaps must be clogged

That was my thought with the door, but must have some decent leakes to begin with.

I'm not sure what hurts more, the fact that you would lie to me or that you don't think I would see the stain in the carpet or smell the mustiness from the carpet. (lol2)

Open the door and see if it pours out. Had that happen once on an old Sebring we took in on trade. You could hear the water sloshing around as you drove and once you open the door, the water would come pouring out.

This has been bugging me.

It's not lying, just omitting the details for better trade-in value.
