Where's the front lip?

Man... I'm a little bummed that these things are dropping value like that. I was considering selling mine next year.

Didn't notice thAt? the owner didn't like the lip so they put a new bumper on..Ya, once you get to that 100k mark the value drops off

Morning, a gorgeous day here too. Checked weather.com and sunny and upper 60's this weekend in Lakeville. :)

Wow...MSM's are approaching NA territory. Most that I've come across in my searching are in the lo/mid teens. Did you guys happen to see the 02 SE on ebay? Can't link it from work but it's a yellow one and starting bid is $20,000 with a BIN of $22,500. Guy thinks because it's an SE with low miles he'll get just as much as a new NC after incentives?! Maybe this will work? http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=290981643920

damn msm are getting low. thats good to know for the future :)
is that bar behind the seats with the speakers a stock thing on those cars? i love having headrest speakers and would need to find a substitue for if i ever replace the seats

s***. My car is down to $8500, KBB private party price. That really shoots my future plan in the ass.

Phen, don't worry about KBB, it means nothing when it comes to Miatas. I've heard to use edmunds as it's a better gauge? Plus in my search I'm finding anything from 91's that run but need a s*** ton of work for $1500 to 94 and 95's that are going for $6-$7K with over 100K miles. As you already know, sell in Spring. ;)

hey look at my sunburst, that thing was kbb i think around 2k-2500 and i paid 4000. thats just what they sell for. so i hope to never get into an accident!

Edmunds was actually worse for mine. WOW.

Ouch...that hurts. But when the time does come, you might just find that buyer that is looking for what you have.

Exactly, the Miata seems to be one of those cars where the value is what the buyer places it at vs. the seller. Know what I mean?

i need to replace the stock headrest speakers myself. and try an put a small amp somewhere which wont take up much space

Yup.. You can run the cables through a hole on the passenger's side.

Nice.

So, had the car aligned yesterday and with the brakes lights being on, the battery needed a boost. Original battery, no worries. Put the battery on the charger last nite and drive to work this morning. Fast forward to 4pm and no start. Borrow the portable booster and get it started but the radio is not working. Crap.

Drive to Walmart and buy a new battery and take it back to the car, will change it when I get home. Car won't start, CRap.

Go back into Walmart and buy a cheap set of metric wrenches, figure I will keep them in the car. Use the 10mm wrench to undo the positive and then drop the wrench under the battery which I can't reach, CRAP!!!

I calm down and then use the 12mm wrench with a looney to undo the negative and swap out the battery.

Car finally starts on it's own and the radio's working, Great, but the DashHawk has lost all it's settings, CRAP.

Spend another 20 mins reconfiguring the DashHawk, which pretty much blows the rest of the evening I had planned to clean the car.

Oh yeah, that 10mm wrench I lost, drove around the lot till it fell out.
