Just a random question coming from outside the box. Any time I've worked with my brakes, bled them, pads, etc... The feel when the car is shut off is drastically different than when vacuum assist is working with the car running. Any thoughts to that making a difference, good or bad?
This is why I'm calling it done for now. I know the MC is bled properly and I know I didn't force any air into the system with the pressure bleeder so it's as good as it's going to get. My experience is the brake pedal will "drop" when the vehicle is running as the brake booster is doing its thing. That's just because the vacuum the engine is generating is being used to multiply the braking input force. I really don't have any idea how that's going to be with the new setup. The goal is to have reduced pedal stroke for the same amount of braking. Modulating the brakes with the stock setup required quite a bit of motion.
