Car is broken down! Warranty not covering it.

Well I went to get into my car the other day and it wouldnt start. The battery wasnt dead so I assumed it was the starter. I had it towed to the Mazda service and they said they would work on it. Well I get a call from them that afternoon saying that Mazda will not cover it under warranty.

Note: I have no mods on this car at all. 100% stock. The only thing I have on there is a new horn due to the fact my car was broken into at the last Mazda dealership I had service done and they cut the horn.

I asked them why they arent covering this under warranty and they said for past work done on the car. They said stuff that was done to the engine. I never had anything on the car.

I dont really know what to do about this cause now I am without a car and I dont have the money to fix it. My life just keeps getting better! (yupnope)

Anyone know what I can do.

call up Mazda NA. that's a load of crap if they won't cover it under warranty because it supposedly had some engine mods.

See another dealer or call Mazda Corp. That's B.S. I'd tell them that if they didn't fix the problem, then you'd file a complaint with Mazda. The sqeeky wheel gets the oil.

I forgot to add as well I just got my air conditioner compressor replaced under warranty just one week ago.

that makes absolutely no difference....sounds to me like the dealership is trying to rip you off, AND MAZDA while they are at it.

you're going to the same dealer that replaced your compressor right ? that's just really random...they replaced your compressor a week earlier, but now they are denying warrenty work because they say there was some stuff done to the engine ? like laracroft said, try another dealer or call up Mazda NA, or tell the dealer that you're going to file a complaint w/ Mazda.

Man that sucks. Hope it works out for you. Keep us updated, and don't accept no for an answer. How many miles are on the car? You're still under warranty mileage/year wise right?

GET THIS ONE... MAZDA DENIED WARRANTY CLAIM ON MY SEIZED CALIPER, BECAUSE I HAD THE PADS CHNGED BY SOMEBODY OTHER THEN MAZDA. THEY ALSO NOTED THAT THE SEIZURE OF THE CALIPER WAS A RECALL ISSUE, NOT RESULTING FROM THE PAD CHANGE. WTF???

MAZDA IS GAY!! Ive said it once ill say it again. I am never buying another mazda in my life! They dont want to fix my a/c switch which turns it from the feet to the face, becuz i have an after market headunit. WTF?!! My friend took his MSP to mazda to get it fixed, after five days he came in cuz they said it was ready, and they lost his car. they could not find his car. after 3 days they found it and the work had not even been done yet. he called up Mazda NA and said that it is seriously affecting his next car buying decision and they gave him an upgraded rental and like 300 dollars to spend on mazda mods and accesories.
