Rattle issue? Did you install the springs properly?
I had issues with leipolds before and haven't been back...
Smokeys in n canton has the most badass tire mounting machine I've ever seen. Teflon pads but I don't even think it touched my wheel once while he mounted it. I should have taken a video. 225s on 10s, no issue. Had the wheel lubed, both valve stems put in the wheel and torqued, tire on, inflated in under 10 minutes no problem.
Best part? They static and dynamic balanced them, and used black weights so they were less obvious. For as much as I was charged at Firestone to road force balance a cheap set of wheels and tires with the clip on weights.
Those don't look stretched at all!
My receipt says $59.99 (for 4).
Also, I shopped around for tires are they were right on par with tire rack, even with shipping. Easier for me to have the tires shipped there instead of having to transport them myself!
Interesting price difference with V's quote. Only thing I can think is that I may have gotten a discount for buying the tires also? Dunno.

It could be, I bought my tires from TireRack. Either way, I'm fine paying $80 for proper mounting than having to go back to powder coaters and pay who knows how much to get it fixed.

No, it's the rear pads. The rattle goes away when I press the brake pedal.
I like how the pics are only from the driver side....are you hiding something? Maybe a dented front bumper on the passenger side??

Another brake question. I still have the full set of pads from before. Would it be okay to reuse those with the new rotors or should I still go with new pads?

I've never used a tire mounting machine like that. Looks brand new or at least very well taken care of.

I have finals this week so I'm hoping I'll have time this weekend to pop that dent back out. Should be easy because I can get my hand behind it. I just need to make sure I use some heat so the paint doesn't get messed up. I actually have a huge list of stuff I need to do on the car

so who's going to join us at Sonic in Parma tonight? someone, please!!!!! it's the first night of the season for the ClevelandRacing hang out. It would be nice to have a few friends there. Last year I wanted to run over one chic. (in my old(er) age, I have less tolerance for young stuck up a**holes) Not my favorite group of people to hang out with on the whole, but there are a few friends who'll be there, so we are going for a while and it's a nice night to hang outside and eat ice cream. : ) The 'festivities' start at 8pm. Hope to see some of you turkeys there! (to use Evan I's way with words) ; )
