I have a 03 msp and am just starting to look into a few upgrades. At this point my car is completely stock and I want to get a full exhaust system from the catback or downpipe and was wondering which ones you all would recommend. The two that really interest me are the vibrant turbo back exhaust, perrin turbo back exhaust. I was wondering if anyone had these and could give me a little more information. I want a nice low tone that wont have too much drone. Also wondering how the magnaflow exhaust compared and how the corksport is. Thanks for all your help and recommendations!

Corksport is probably the best spot right now to buy a brand new full exhaust. Good price, good product. You cant go wrong with a used setup either, patience will pay off if you are looking used. The perrin is discontinued if I am not mistaken, and I dont know about the vibrant, finding one may be tough.

if its an introduction your looking for into modifying the car, i wouldnt straight up start with the exhaust. BUT i know tons of people just go straight to exh for sound, so to each man his own.. the vibrant exhaust is a good deal and sounds great. the good thing about it too is that it leaves PLENTY of room for the car to breathe even after heavier modification

Corksport is DEFF the way to go at this point. The over 2 are hard to find, i own the corksport 80mm and i am very pleased with it. As a first mod i would upgrade the intercooler.

I wouldn't mind upgrading to a fmic but they cost so much damn money. Has anyone tried or heard anything about the ebay fmic's that are around 200 with the pipes and intercooler. Does anyone know where I could get a fmic for a reasonable price? Would you also suggest to get motor mounts if I was to get an exhaust. Which is louder the vibrant or the corksport and which has a deeper tone?

Ebay intercooler kits are not a kit built for your car you get a bunch of random bent pipes and a intercooler and you get to cut them and weld them or use a bunch of silicone connectors to put it together. They don't come with silicone couplers they are rubber and will split in no time.
I got one of these kits for my last car and the connectors did not last long then you will be hunting down boost leaks.

There are a few videos on youtube of MSP's with our exhaust on it.

Thanks for the feedback. Has anyone tried out the GHL exhaust? Someone is selling one on here with a borla cat and I was wondering how that compared. I heard that the GHL were really nice exhausts but could get loud.

just go to a competent exhaust shop and have them weld you one from scratch for alot less money and just choose whatever muffler you like to hear

I would go with a corksport. And get it catless

I've actually been trying to decide which exhaust I want to go with too. I've come to the conclusion that these are the two best options (unless you are in love with a particular brand, of course). Pick your flavor.

Ive seen a nice looking magnaflow system on ebay too.
