Yeah, Mid-Ohio has had the same groups on the same weekends for the last 4 years that I've been doing track events unless for some reason a major spectator event bumps it.

I don't know if I'll be able to have the $100 deposit by the 15th If there is 50 people locked in and this is a go would someone be able to join in after that date?

WillD, I tracked my 98 neon at Gingerman, sold it, got the 2. Tracked the 2 at Nelson 100% stock except the rear torsion bar, then Gingerman with K1s/star specs, then Nelson again with 15x9 and 225/45 for S&G. I took the gutted 90 Miata to Nelson this past year, first time on track in a miata. Stance coilovers, rollbar, stock wheels and falken tires.

I also took my 01 neon R/T out to Nelson (my very first experience on track).

This year I'll take the Smart out at least once, the rest I hope to have the Miata running.

Funny you say that. I have a picture of the 2, leaves stuck in the grille, wide tires, with 2 Porsches in the background. Seemed like the 911 guys didn't want to take any chances on the carousel, lol.

Damn, that sounds fun. Hopefully ill be able to get the money together to put the deposit down. Ive been itching to get on a track for years, and now that i have a car with more than 65whp thats not falling apart, it makes too much sense not to

The carousel is a scary place, so I don't necessarily blame them. Nelson was made for cars with no HP and good handling I think. I have no problem keeping up with the big HP cars there.

You do realize it's the monday before Grand-Am weekend at Mid-Ohio. With that being said, I still would like to go, not sure if I'll get the time-off since I'm taking that Friday and who knows what car I'll be driving. I'm not willing to take the monte carlo on the track and suck all joy of driving out of me. It's a sad excuse for an SS badge.

^lol. I have a autoX the Sunday right before, then the test & tune @ Mid-Ohio, and then Grand-Am at Mid-Ohio the next weekend. IT'S GOING TO BE F*^$&^# AWESOME WEEK!
