The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Hahaha. Good call. However, since Evan has his place, I'm sure there probably won't be as many wrenching meets at this house any more, so the grill wouldn't get used as much as it previously did.

True, but you're to social one of us the two of us. I don't like people. haha

Well, there is that. Hahaha. That's why everything balanced out so well.

I come over with the MSP and fill the void in the garage Phen with my MSP and I go over to Evan's to do all of the CF stuff. Win-Win!

I was just kidding Evan. I'm sorry Evan. I'll help you fix yours wile I'm over there of course.

Please NO! I need this motor with 230k+ miles on her to last until I get the other motor built.

Looks like the short shifter project is on hold for the time being. TWM is working on modifying a current shifter to work on the skyactiv. Next on my list is a rear sway bar. That was the first upgrade on the Protege back in the day. There seems to be all kinds of options (Corksport, JBR, Tripoint, Racing Beat...etc). Has anybody used any of those options? I know I'm gonna need new links as well. Pretty standard addition to a new bar.

Yeah, about that, Corey... I was wondering, wouldn't it be better to rebuild that motor than buy new wheels/tires/fenders? I don't know how much longer that motor will last. :/

I'm not trying to be the party pooper, just the realist. Peaches, I love ya man, but is the MSP even road legal? Are you going to buy a trailer? Where are you going to store them? Can you afford everything right now? I thought you were working on paying of your debts?

Don't get me wrong, it's a sweet car and Bill is a great fellow. But someone has to be the grouchy old man around here. :)
Evan, the official voice of financial resposibility for the Ohio random thread.

Oh man I was going to be so quick to jump on Bill's car, then I saw it was already sold... Damn...

anybody ever have to replace a lost title for a car? is it a painful and agonizing process with a ton of fees or relativly simple?

IIRC, it's just a matter of paying a fee. I think you have to have the registration as proof of ownership. It's been many moons since I needed to replace a title though.

It's even easier than that. It's linked to your drivers license. Say you lost your title, show your license. Let them know which vehicle, pay for the new title, walk out 30 minutes later or less.

Did this a few months back
