The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I don't consider the 3 to be a "compact car". The 2, Fiesta, and Smart are "compact cars".

I guess I've always considered those "micro/sub-compact cars." I've seen a few of the IQ's and Smart cars over the last couple years. I can't imagine getting in an accident in one of those. Safety has come a long way, but it still makes me nervous.

Good to know....hint hint Nick

Get me an S-Plan pin, then will talk.

Cars like the iQ and Smart are considered "City Cars". The 2/Fiesta/Fit are subcompacts. Then you go up from there with the 3/Focus/Civic/Corolla/whatever else.

YouTube smart car crashes, they aren't as unsafe as you'd think.

Although if I wreck mine it will undoubtably be the most awesome wreck in the history of smart car wrecks. I envision plastic pieces everywhere and it rolling sideways multiple times.

But you never know, lol.

Change of subject ... let's talk weather. We have nothing on the ground on the southside of Parma ... what's happening in your neck of the woods? Looks like the eastside is getting slammed and it must've been bad earlier down by Mansfield with that huge pile up on 71. Hope y'all are safe!

it was like 20 degrees down in Logan today... perfect for a 10 mile hike from old man's cave to ash cave.
Supposed to be like 13 or 16 tomorrow in Columbus...
It snowed a little down here, but just a dusting- no real accumulation.

No huge pile-ups on US33 :D

We went through white out conditions on the way to the NAIAS in Detroit. A bunch of wrecks and a whole lot of April grabbing the oh s*** handle in her 2. Good Times!

we got about an inch last night, and a dusting again today. it is cold though. my 6 hates me, but my 3 can't stop smiling!

Coming through Cincinnati/Middletown area yesterday and hit white-out conditions just enough to screw everything up. 2 big pile-ups down that way, one on 75 Southbound and another on 275 in Hamilton where a young girl lost her life due to a traffic cable snapping and hitting her after the accident. So religious or not, please pray for this family. Couldt imagine this happening to me. Sorry for bringing it down. But more on the wrecks can be seen at www.fox19.com.

Mostly just cold. It started snowing lightly when I got into Medina County, but thats it. It's too cold though. Car wouldn't warm up. Oil temp wouldn't break 130*F.

When I went to bed last night there was only maybe an inch of snow on the ground. Right now it's bitter cold outside, 8 degrees...

Supposed to get 4-6 inches today.

it was 9* this morning, I bet it wasn't that bad in Daytona
