And since all the govn't offices are closed for the holiday, everybody is trying to get their car fixed today...lots and lots of people that have no idea what they want and have any idea how much repairs/parts cost...urg...
Can't wait to get into work today.....
Evan did you get the truck situation figured out? I wish I could help you but I'll be in Florida![]()
Thanks again for the offer, Will. I just rented a U-Haul, no worries. And like Chris said, I have a friend/co-worker with a truck/trailer and we'll pick up the P5 next week on a clear day.
It impressed me more than I thought. I really liked it's interior w/ mooroof/sunroof standard and SI stitched into the seats and has more than enough space for Amber and a baby seat on the same side. Power wasn't bad, I felt it was very comparable to the MSP with the bonus of being quiet and the extra gear would take some getting used to. Clutch however felt very soft and unsporty and the handling was ok but I don't think anything I test drive will be close to how good the MSP is in that department. All and all it's not a bad car and would make for a nice daily driver, it just has a bad price in my opinion. The one I tested was just over $24k (pretty much all the options) and I feel it's about 4-5k overpriced. On top of that the sales guy told me he could only take $1800 off, $1000 of that being from Honda. If that's all they could do now on last years model I think it will be pointless this summer when I am buying a car so I can take it off the list.
Looks great Will!
test drove this today after all the snow was done. '12 civic Si. Had to go on a diaper run and the Honda dealer was across the street.

for $24k, why not just get a speed3? I'm not a Honda fan, but they are very reliable cars. I looked at the civic when car shopping in the fall. To get alloy wheels and disk brakes you just about had to get an SI. If I'm gonna spend that kind of $$$, it had better have those two options and many more. it's not the late 80's anymore. disk brakes and alloy wheels should be standard.
^Truth! The new 6i at the show was 25k and I would take that in a heart beat over the SI.
Good to know....hint hint NickWe purchased our 2013 Speed3 w3/Tech Package and the Crystal White Bi-Color paint for roughly the same price as the Si.
I'm with on that, I don't need that big of a car for just me and occasional family useThe 6 is a rather large car. I'd much rather have a "compact car."
our f-bodies were considered compact when new, at least the brochure for mine does. I would consider all those sub-compact.I don't consider the 3 to be a "compact car". The 2, Fiesta, and Smart are "compact cars".
