Zombie Apocalypse Edition...Oh my!

Looks like CJ Wilson Mazda has been having fun again. Kind of makes me wish I had got the AWD model... not that I'd be out off-roading, but I do like some gravel switch back roads.

Pretty funny.

But I'm concerned that the rack-mounted pick axe is attached using thumb-screws without a provision for a lock. When inside the locked car and surrounded by zombies, a zombie could use your own pick axe to gain access to the occupants.
Also, I would prefer the spare tire be mounted flat to the bottom of the rack and the two fuel cans mounted together to reduce aerodynamic drag. This will increase the vehicles range thus lowering the chances of a zombie attack while doing a roadside fuel-up.(lol2)

$8k for what looks like just tires, wheels, front/rear bumper guards, roof rack, tools, lights, and fuel cans? Wow

That front brush guard looks terrible. It's not even close to matching the lines of the CX5. Looks pretty tough aside from that, but definitely not worth an additional 8k. LOL.

It looks like they used Ford Escape parts for the brush guards, the surprising thing is the back bumper guard looks good! i wonder how those wheels and tires affect performance.....

fwiw, i've seen those stickers ("badges" and "licenses") on ebay before. other than putting it all together, what has been custom-made? the bumper guards? (scratch)

Nope, the bumper guards are for 2008-2012 Ford Escape, must have been some Appalachian engineering to get it all together, lol. They sure had fun coming up with it though....

Anyone able to make out what size wheels those are. I likes 'em. Bull bars not so much. Roof rack and lights cool, but lights that high are illegal around here...only good for off road.

tires are 235/70R17 so a 17x6 or 17x7 rim would fit properly.

I'd like to know how/where they got the black roof rails! I think the OEM silver ones look lame, especially on a black CX-5.
