Post pics of your Mazda3!

I bought it because the 1st year I was in autox there were a lot of tight courses the mini's were beating the 3's on....warranty was almost up on my 2008 3S touring hatch...and...it was an auto...so I said how about a 5 speed 2....
then 2012 season...mostly huge open airport events...lead course designer has a vette....I hated life in 2012...sure...if I spent 5k on the car it could probably start winning but F that I wasnt happy with the power anyway...wife made fun of it daily...with the springs it was downright painful on my bumpy commute...and most importantly...they gave me 11,700 for it in trade on a car that was 4k below book!...picked up the 2010 3S GT with every option (even nav) for 15500 with 37k miles....so...thats why I did it ;-)

Thanks!

Her whole underside is layered in dirt and the exhaust tips are completely corroded ...so she'll need new tips...There was compound in the cracks so I can tell the dealer had to buff her to shine again...i think the previous owner never washed her. There's a couple annoying dents I may have to get fixed...but for the deal I got...Im still way ahead....anyway enough rambling...took a few photos in my driveway that arent cell phone pics ;-)

looks great! and very happy.

nice deal there.

how do you corrode the exhaust tips in such short of time? my protege with 108000 miles didnt look like that, and i never scrubbed the chrome tip at all.

Repeated salt exposures with no washing at all...literally there is no shine left on the tips...total corrosion... possibly a lot of short trips that kept moisture in the exhaust...its odd because I know it once had coilovers because of the marks on the tires where he was riding way too low...but why would someone take that much time modding and not keep it clean

I'd recommend doing what I did... put a MS3 axle-back on it ;)

No more corroded tips!

Ill be driving down there in march to go to the uk florida game (raised in somerset)

Does the ms3 axleback bolt\weld right on with no mods? If it's still there in march I'll debate it. Other than the tips, exhaust appears in great condition (vs spending 35 bucks on 2 tips) and I still have to spend a grand on racing tires\wheels ;-(

Dont hold it for me but if ive got expendable income when I come down for the game I'll hit you up (assuming it fits in the trunk)

I do drive a lot of highway miles every day so will it be too audible when not "getting on it?"....(put a midas performance exhaust on the 2 and after 24 hours it's not in my garage floor because of the 3k rpm drone sound\vibration)

It'll fit. Just fold the seats down.

No, it won't be at all. You'll like it.

and speed3 front brakes.
