What have you done to your P5 today?

Anyone out there recommend one camber kit over another for the P5? Looking at them now so I can correct the negative camber tire wear issues I'm having. What good does an alignment do if I'm told they can't adjust the camber?! So far I've found H&R, SPC and Eibach camber bolts and a Progress camber kit. Second question is are these universal as in will they work with Tokico struts?

I checked but alas, did not find them... I might get on the phone with a mech. I need my valve seals done too so I might ask if they can do my rings too?

Thanks much though. :)

The camber bolts are all the same, just get the cheaper one. Toe will kill tires way more than camber so the alignment place must be doing something wrong.

I think I have an oil leak somewhere. There's none on the driveway, but I smell it when I'm driving (not burning, no blue smoke) and she was a bit low today when I checked it. I wasn't able to get under her to check, but I don't think I'll find anything without pulling out manifolds and such, since it seems to be burning off somewhere. Confused...

... bad timing with the end of the semester quickly coming up. :/

FS-DEs are notorious for using oil. Check your PCV valve. Mine failed and caused oil consumption. It's a whopping $5 part. How many miles do you have?

Replaced the PCV valve yesterday and topped off the oil. I don't smell any oil yet, but we'll see what happens over the weekend.

And a correction, the P5 has over 135K. I've put 14K on her since February. Love my car!

That makes me feel SO much better. (2thumbs) I noticed my p5 burned through oil and was thinking I had an issue internally but maybe not. I know it's not much in the way of parts, but I ordered a stubby antenna for my car today since the stock one literally fell apart at the body shop.

Gotta love shotty workmanship. I really don't know why I even got the antenna for my P5... I don't even use the radio... ever, and when I do the reception suuuuuucks. It's either my iPod or Pandora. Hopefully I'll be getting the AppRadio2 soon and won't have to worry about reading the tiny display on my phone for Pandora. BIIIIIIG touchscreen!!!!!

And welcome to the party Willis2k!!!!

Thanks for the welcome! (hi) I'm getting a double din to replace the stock head unit too since I usually listen to my phone or Pandora. I had a single din pop out screen in my old Accord and loved it. It's so much easier and there is no point in getting a slim radio when I have the huge hole for a stock P5 radio. Btw, the antenna was already dry rotting around the base and was held together with electrical tape so it was no fault of the body shop, just time to replace it anyway I suppose.

May have wheels for the summer...

Quick question though. I have 17" wheels for the p5 for the summer. They're 205 wide and I'm on stock suspension, how thick of tires can I/should I get away with? Someone told me 205/40-17, just want to confirm
