(*Help*)- ok my exhaust went out on my 04 mazda 6 2.3 i replaced the right one with a welded thrush muffler I have new headers straight pipe from there ( no cat or resinator) it sounds great driving besides probley its noisey as hell. I was wondering if anyone had suggestion for new muffler or if i should buy a vibrent ultra silent resonator http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/ven...-quiet-resonator-flat-black-mufflers-too.html or a in line flow master hush power hp-2? http://m.advanceautoparts.com/mt/sh...oduct_hp-2-muffler-flowmaster-inc-_10193907-p. Seriously thinking about parting out and selling the car. Really want to get a 2nd Gen 6 cyl Mazda 6 in white of course. Lowered, wheels, intake and exhaust.

Anyway, Hit the 400 mile mark tonite in the new 3. I even remembered which side the darn gas tank was. At least 200 more miles till I can start really driving again.

You would probably get more answers in the Mazda6 section. I'm not familiar with that car and I don't think any of the regular Ohio cats have a 2.3l 6.
You have dual exhaust mufflers and you only replaced one? Without any resonators it's probably pretty raspy, no? If you need a new muffler, why not match the left with the right? I are confused...

I had no idea how many protege parts I had boxed up over the years...No wonder I didn't have much room in this apartment.

Man, as much as I kinda dislike the way the Milly looks (and an auto, ugh) I love how simple she is to work on. No rust and a KL ftw. I swapped front rotors today (they were wrapped) and it took me all of 30 mins in the snow. Both rotors came right off without the BFH. Heck, changing Tessa's oil on the TT took longer than my oil change and rotor swap. lulz.

So I'm pretty well set on the Mazda 6 now. No point in explaining it all but it makes so much sense right now. I'm going to start the process of demodding soon and there will be a part out thread as well.

What year 6 you looking at? Nevermind, I just scrolled up and saw the answer! The 2nd gen 6 looks killer lowered with rims. I just couldn't live with the ATX unless I had a second car that was MTX

You know you might as well spell it out for everyone on here....you can't get away with dropping a bombshell like that, and NOT explain yourself.
Especially with what seems to be such a downgrade! One of the cleanest, most modded Speed3's around, to a cock slow, run of the mill, 4dr sedan dropped and on rims?? I can probably speak for everyone on here when I say, that makes no sense without some explanation. Unless you knocked Cara up and need the extra space! (lol2)
