The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

The OCC meet after the first one went downhill from there, all of the NEMOC folks bailed on it and I am suer they'll never get back to what they had before, but that can change depending on the venue, etc.

It fits! Gonna keep this car tame compared to the protege. Plus, gotta keep it somewhat stock for that 5 yr warranty.

So everyone have kickass plans for Thanksgiving?

Working. Now that I'm finally back in Beijing, I have a weeks worth of work to catch up on in order to make the document submittal dates. Hopefully the preliminary documents that were sent yesterday are good enough that the customer doesn't go absolutely apeshit. The thing that kinda sucks about working with a Vietnamese customer is that if they see something on a schedule, they say they need it. They may not understand what it actually is, or if it provides any benefit... but they need it. I'm going to spend the next 3 weeks arguing, I can see it now.

headed home for turkey day, as soon as its over its time to get everything ready to head to the hunting camp on Sunday to hit the woods on Monday and Tuesday

(Assistance)- Im trying to wrap my head around the way this guy has done this http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123778670-How-To-Make-an-AUX-input-for-FREE,
Im tired of screwing with my fm transmitter while driving. If anyone has done this or would be able to assist me with the install id appreciate it. An it's on my 04 mazda 6 stock audio system. *Zoom Zooom 2526*

Simple, just improvising the connector for the head unit to take the signal from an old headphone cable. Instead of the CD ROM cable, you could find the connector that actually goes there, don't know what kind it is though. If you can find the cables he mentioned, just follow the directions for the colors, and test it before you put everything back together to make sure the left and right channels are wired correctly.

What you would have to find out is if your head unit has the same connection, Jon has a Speed6 with a BOSE system, so as long as your radio has the same connection it should work. Otherwise, you would have to verify the pin input on yours.

That is true, however, you can still use the steering wheel controls with the 125 unit, the $5 unit you only have a volume control.

Either way, both have a much better sound than the damn FM transmitters (I have never had luck with any FM transmitter)

11 more minutes and I'm outta here. My boss left early so I'm sitting at my desk with my bass running and scales and playing along to Tower of Power while getting paid. Muhahaha.

Aaah the holidays. If it wasn't for everyone posting Thanksgiving type things, I'd have no idea what day it is.

Well aren't you a day behind after the trip or wait is that a day ahead?....ah s*** now I've confused myself. haha

Happy Thanksgiving Ohians!
