What have you done to your P5 today?

Rico, you find someone to swap headlights with you? I might want P5 lights back on the wife's car. . . .

Quad projector retro. . mmmmmmm. . . . .

I still have my Depo HL (black ver) with the prev H1 versions with 6K HID lights from TRS. If intersted also includes ballasts (not TRS), mini gatling shroud and wiring harness (TRS)...was planning on rebuilding it and changing the shroud to the mini gatling one (standard shroud) since it's a direct bolt on.

I've already got Acura TL projectors in the wife's car now but the mounting points broke, so i'm rebuilding her set (Already ordered another set of Depo headlights for it) and have E46 bixenon projectors for the rebuild, just debating if i want to go the sedan light or P5 light with quad projectors

i've also got 3 sets of E55 shrouds, a set of mini graphites, and a set of mini gatlin guns in a box lol

Since last update post on P5:

Polished twice and a few light coats of wax.
Fog Light's and AWR sway bar arrived, not yet installed.
Full Range Fountek's arrived, not installed.
Zed Minotaur & Draconia-II ordered, not yet arrived.
XS Power D5100R & XP750 arrived, not yet installed.
EZlip arrived and installed.

Serious paint efforts on the RX8 over the weekend too.
:)

No prob...these might work (Bi-xenon: Morimoto Matchbox) if you decide to go quad proj on P5 HL's...

Doesn't the Bi-xenon take the place of high and low? It has a solenoid and cutoff plate built in to limit the light coming out for low beam, when power is applied (high beam switch) the plate lowers and allows full light for high beams. it would be badass to have that running in all 4, 4 low beams and then 4 high beams!

there were two wires that came out of the projector for the hight beam that we extended into a plug that would plug into the hight beam bulb harness as if it was the oem bulb

i did the same thing. Ordered the male connectors from Ebay or amazon and splice in so it uses the factory high beam wiring

Meaning you would have quad LB's and also quad HB's when HB is activated....would'nt the position of the HB proj point higher than the LB's when everything is set to the normal ON position during LB? Hoped I said/asked that right?

^ actviating the HB turns the LB into a HB by opening the light shield. You would have 4 LB by installing retros in both the LB and HB housing. when the HB switch is activated, all four projectors drop the gate and let more light out changing 4 LB's to 4 HB's vs the P5 setups of adding the HB to the LB.

Took me a while to save up and have them shipped out and deal with picking them up. Long story short I have them at my house. Now just have to wait for Low Pro Valve Stems and Lug Nuts. Here's a teaser for now.....

I was in the process of removing my rear wiper and this was the result:

Here's how it happened... As I'm sure some of you may know, there is a nut holding the two rubber gaskets on the window (after you take off the arm). So, if I'm not mistaken, it's a 22mm nut, which I did not have in my tools. That caused me to have to drive out to my storage unit to get the big crescent wrench. During the drive, I hit the apex too hard (the side of the road with a decent pit) and the entire window shattered.

Now, I know what youre thinking, You dont just hit a bump and the window shatters! Heres my issue I think the window had been replaced with the previous owner. In cleaning up the mess, I found 4 pieces of heavy duty Velcro just inside the seal. Correct me if Im wrong, but I dont think Velcro is part of the window installation process. Therefore, I think there were some cracks up under the spoiler and the hard hit just sealed the fate of the window.

Heres my new tint though:

On the upside though, the motor is out and I have a sweet new cooling system.
