Grand AM / ALMS Merger

NJMP wasn't necessarily a bad place to go... other than being a dust bowl.

The problem is, if you could only pick 12 tracks to watch a race at, would that be one of them? There aren't any really good passing locations there and it's pretty narrow...

Edit: If this series needs someplace in the northeast there is a brand new street circuit that is going to have all fresh pavement and new pit facilities in NJ for F1. That is where they should go...

I just looked up where they are putting that track in NJ.. WEEHAUKEN?!!!?!? SWEET MOTHER OF BAD IDEAS THAT IS AWFUL!

Right next to the Lincoln tunnel and on Port Imperial BLVD? UUUGH. If just 500 people attended the race, it would be a traffic nightmare.

Supposedly the train and boat are going to be the main methods of arriving at the track on race day from what I've read. (IIRC) But it sounds very much like it's going to happen and the word on the street is the track layout is going to be excellent. We shall see.

alot of sharp, slow corners

It's going to be a pretty fast track by all accounts. With a ton of elevation change for a street course.
