The trip to the Dragon this weekend is probably what finally did it in. It gave no warning whatsoever and I wasn't even on it when it let loose. Luckily I was pulling out of my shops lot when it happened and was able to reverse it back into the lot, and pull it onto a rack. At first I thought my driver side axle had come out and actually did look like it, so I pushed it in a bit (1/8") and put it back on the ground to no avail. Then locked the driver axle down and put it into gear while in the air and the driver side axle is jumping all over the place. I figure I'll just go OE on it. I'm getting a new DD in October and this will be my toy.

So, I may just say "**** it" and go ahead and get a new car... Mazda3 or Mazda6... I sold the P5 to buy a 6, but it got bought on my way to pick it up, which is when I decided to get a toy as my DD and picked up the MSP. There is a silver 07 3 and and 06 6 I want right now.. I'm actually thinking about just going ahead and getting one of them...

Discovered my valve cover gasket is shot and leaking oil last night. Also noticed a little up by the 4th spark plug hoping my oil cap just needs to be replaced as well. 
Perfect excuse to get a different valve cover, powder coated, and an msp oil cap lol. I'm at work and don't have time to search right now. What's the valve cover we can swap on? Wanna do the 1.8 coil pack conversion but with all this, the new tires(Falken ZE-502's), and pope just ordered parts money is limited lol.

IIRC its the 2000 626 1.8L VC. Has to have to cam sensor port

why not just trade in the msp and get a ms6 or ms3 they can take more of a beating.

That's one of two plans...
1) Keep the MSP and get a 3 or 6.
2) Sell the MSP and get an MS3

The Ms3 is def a nice "upgrade" especially for power but me personally when I had mine I missed the rarity of the MSP.

wouldn't just the regular 2.0 protege valve cover swap right on? Dumb question I'm sure but I'm only going on 2 hours of sleep in 48 hours lol

yeah, you were talking about the 1.8l packs in your post though. reg pro vc for the msp packs 1.8vc for the 1.8 packs
