What have you done to your MSP today?

Engine is done- new crankshaft, bearings, timing belt, water pump, cam and crank seals- just waiting to install the valve cover and lower oil pan, and it'll be ready to go in. I'll have it back on the road this weekend. Three weeks without the MSP and I'm missing it. Wanting to pick up another engine from a guy here so that I can build a forged one.

I should have one that would make a good candidate in a few weeks.

no, don't tell me that. I do remember not too long ago the car is idling rough at a light so I gave it a little gas, just over 1000 rpm and the car sounded like it was cammed, then it went away. Once I start driving, sometime it will feel like it's not going anywhere then all of a sudden, it gains all the power back and throws you back in the seat
EGR. take it out and clean it.

That's ****** up!

I honestly didn't know what to tell him. I have never priced an FS block. Jordan should be fair though.

Just tell me a number you want, and I'll put a little bug in his ear, lol.

Oh, and today is the big day! She's finally going to be dyno tuned. Leaving out in about 5 hours.

T25.

Power related mods are 3" T-back exh, CAI, steedspeed, 440s, alcohol injection (no water), Microtech, and HiBoost FMIC.

170whp. ;)

My brother thinks 230-245whp on 10-12psi. IDK, and would rather not speculate as I will know for sure later today.

i don't think you will make it above 240whp with the boost being that low. i think you will end up in between 215-235. Being that you are running alcohol and a microtech do one run at 14 psi =)

NOT MSP RELATED BUT!!!!

DDDDDAMN!! LEBRON JAMES!!! DDDDDDamn him to an early offseason!!!

Also, I picked up an 06 Jetta GLI 2.0T motor to learn on yesterday. Not too shabby education tool hahah

I feel like I really need to read up on the EGR.

I really wish I didn't have the 4Runner, so it would motivate me to get the engine in...
I have spent a whole three hours removing components as slow as possible because I'm just not in the mood. I remember when I liked working on cars, but after doing this for ten years, it just seems like a chore.

I'm considering painting the exhaust manifold black, but I'm just wondering if I should use 500 degree or 1500 degree paint. I'd prefer a gloss black, but it's only available in 500.
