What have you done to your MSP today?

Finally got my EGR hooked up two years after installing the 505zoom intake manifold so finally no more start up issues, also fixed a injector vac leak so that fixed my idel, installed new spark plugs so that fixed the issue of missing in really low RPMs and blowing the spark out in boost. Oh and I installed the second to last shifter bushings that were ever made for the msp. Cant really tell a difference with the new bushings in, I could be wrong but it feels like to me the throw is shorter than it use to be. It really feels like a new car, I got on it today and it ran like a scalded dog really had tons of power. I no longer have the rough idle and start up issues I use to. Its a bunch of those little issues that never really cause any big problems and you can still drive the car everyday and get good fuel mileage but are just annoying im glad i finally got those all cleared up.

smh... noob engine builder mistake.. found out my leak isnt the transmission.. its oil.. and its coming from the rear main seal area... and yes i remember not replacing that on this block.. i did the seal with the crank pulley side but not the other end :/ damn... also wideband sensor is stuck in the j pipe with torch, pblaster, wd40 and freeze spray used.. still not going anywhere. and when i went to hook up the 2nd O2 sensor, cant locate the connector its suppose to connect to... grrrr

I thought that's how the turbo came off. did it really blow the rod completely off? If so that's freakin' awesome.

Yep. No evidence of it anywhere in the pan either... LOL

And I also found the piston skirt. In about 40,000 pieces.

Engine is done- new crankshaft, bearings, timing belt, water pump, cam and crank seals- just waiting to install the valve cover and lower oil pan, and it'll be ready to go in. I'll have it back on the road this weekend. Three weeks without the MSP and I'm missing it. Wanting to pick up another engine from a guy here so that I can build a forged one.

New crankshaft, but no forged goodies? Is this the twilight zone?
Because of the sudden grenading of my motor, I'm getting back together on the quickness and nothing is being forged. As I stated previously, the motor going in was to be forged but because this happened earlier than expected, I didn't buy forged. I'm picking up another engine (or maybe both) from a former MSP owner here locally to build forged. A new crank is $150, so it's not like I'm out any money.
