Morning everyone...in the midst of a move here at work and things have been crazy the last few days. I'd be in for a GI Joe style tee and hoodie.

Truck was picked up by the shipping company yesterday! Woohoo! It'll be here in 5-7 days!

I've been thinking about wheels. Not crazy about the chrome ones on it. I have some ideas floating through my head.

Typical truck wheels aren't bad, but I find them a little generic.

White looks good and will match the white stripes on my truck.

Or a more bold statement would be to get Watanabe vintage style wheels. I can't find any photos of them on a truck, but it could look pretty sexy.

Rota makes knock-offs in a few colors

Konig makes knock-offs as well

So the question is? Would you guys approve? And what color would look best? White? Silver? Color matched orange?

I could have bought this instead of the REPU... One of the cleanest unmolested 80's T-birds I've seen in a long time. Of course I'm partial to the Cougar since I had an '87 in High School.

lol at Chris and Mark. Damn, haven't seen that body style in some time, looks like it's in great shape. My dad had a '78....oh what fun those 12hr road trips were with my two brothers in the back seat.... Co-worker just bought an '85 Monte Carlo SS with IIRC 48K miles.

Ugg, I forgot one minor detail. The truck has 6x5.5" lug pattern. That basically limits me to the hideous selection of truck wheels that d-bags in dodge rams think are stylin'.

Of the selection on one site, this was the best I could come up with...

...unless I could do a bolt pattern conversion. Not sure about that...and since the truck has brand new slotted rotors it would be kind of a waste to take 'em off.
