What have you done to your MSP today?

My window and windshield trim and grilles in the front were sun baked and faded so I painted them today. Also started tuning the boost, I want the low EBC setting to be around 8 psi and the high to be 10 psi, and when it's off it's about stock boost 7.5 psi.

Did you paint those with black gloss? I painted mine but I used flat black and it looked stock but gloss I think will look funny.

Good condition? Any leaking from the front? How much?

I just ordered my pillar dual gauge pod. Right now my gauges are mounted below the climate controls and the sunglasses pocket... Which require me to look three miles away to see them.

It's supposed to be Satin, it's a little more gloss than I wanted but it looks good. The paint is made for exterior trim and was wet in that picture.
 
I painted mine flat black and it looked just like it did when I bought it with 18,000 miles on her. It just looks to shiny but I know that pictures sometimes dont capture things correctly. Lets see a picture of it on the car!
 
Got the charge pipe back on with a shiny new meth bung welded in. Took her around the block to make sure there were no leaks, and all is good for now. Gonna set the boost a little higher tomorrow since it won't blow the fitting out anymore.

The J&S was detecting less noise on this run. I'm guessing from the meth fitting being nice and snug now, keeping the charge temps nice and cold.

Going to re-install the mudflaps tomorrow in a more permanent fashion.
 
Installed my new AWR deep oil sump pan and then found a huge crack in my exhaust manifold after taking the heat sheild off. So that's where all my powers going :) I can't believe it never made a weird noise or anything. I probably never would have known if I didn't to randomly decide to take the heat sheild cover off.
 
prob will list it for like $6,000 OBO...

went to a local "dealership" (small used exotics only) to see what they'd give me... and they offered me $5400 cash. so we'll see what happens.

What are you calling a "small used exotic"?

what am i? nothing... its this little place that sells like evos, lancers, WRXs, civics, integras, some other quite average cars that people like to mod. on the sign it says "used exotic vehicles"

i think it's rather obv. they were using the word "exotic" to represent "mod-able cars that young men like to drive"

I had a S10 Extreme keep up, that's when I knew mine was cracked.
lol Well while observing the exhaust more I noticed whoever owned it before took out 2 of the end exhaust manifold bolts and didn't put them back in. Leaking like mad around that gasket area too.
 
New plugs, new wires, and a coil pack and still misses under boost at around 5psi...

If its the two nearest to the pullies they didnt forget to put them in... Those constantly and are known to jump ship on these cars
